Service Description

Take this class if you want to walk away with the knowledge to work on your own DIY project. Whether its a worktop or a small area for an epoxy floor you have in mind, our 2 day workshop will provide you with the skills and confidence to carry it out. Day one will introduce you to the different varieties of epoxy resin available on the market, and their pros and cons for your chosen project. The technical and safety aspects of working with epoxy resin, as well as the tools and preparation knowledge required to install an epoxy resin floor or worktop. Working on a surface area measuring 60 x 60 cm, with access to our vast color spectrum of mica powders, alcohol inks, and epoxy pastes, you will be introduced to two of our most popular mixing methods. Epoxy workshops consist of 6 people in order to ensure each receives the individual attention required. Since each piece takes 72 hours to cure, day two will be held on the following weekend and will involve sanding back and preparing your piece for a top coat. You will learn about the different varieties and the importance of each topcoat as a chosen finish. Then we will move on to applying your chosen topcoat whilst answering any questions you may have. Important Things To Remember Whilst all materials are provided during the workshop, Epoxy Resin is a fluid art and can become messy so please wear appropriate clothing. Light refreshments are included in our offer, but a packed lunch is advised. Your finished piece will continue to cure over the course of 7 days so will need to be collected if local, postage can be arranged for a fee. A choice of kits and colors will be available following the workshop so you can complete your project when you arrive home, however these can only be supplied for 5m2 areas and need to be pre-ordered and paid for 4 weeks prior to the beginning of your chosen date.
